The boys

I'm lucky to spend my days with two fantastic little boys. Would you like to meet them?



The Owl is currently 4 1/2 years old. He is wise beyond his years, intense, intensely sweet and loving, inquisitive, imaginative, animal lover, nature lover, button pusher, fiercely independent, spirited, huggable, animated, thoughtful.


The Tiger is 20 months old. He is wild, determined, full of energy, all boy, lover of anything with wheels, kissy and snuggly only when sleepy, big brother's shadow, animated, curious, climby, and free spirited.

About this blog...

The purpose of this blog is to keep myself in check, to remind myself of the good in our days, of the fun and joy and purpose in everything I do. I am a mom to two wonderful boys, and amidst all the laundry, cooking, cleaning, tiredness and struggle, I am reminded daily that these days are the best... my mission, in each day is try as I might to:

• Relax and enjoy the day
• Pause and notice the little things that make our lives so wonderful
• Appreciate the joys that are my sons
• Practice patience, kindness, and empathy towards the boys and everyone else
• Infuse our days with learning, fun, and childhood magic
• Give them everything they need- including space- to grow and explore
• Simplify our lives and our days
• Focus on our family
• Make time to create
